I woke up early the next morning in the arms of Gerard. He was still asleep so I slipped out of his arms quietly, got dressed, and went into the kitchen. Kaylana, Ray, and Mikey were the only ones awake. "Hey Lizz." They all said. "Hey guys." I said back. "Well, looks like everyone got busy last night!" Ray said. "Huh?" "Well, you and Gerard did, Frank and Erin did, Kaylana and I did, and of course Jordyn and Mikey did, but..." Ray trailed off. "Did Bob and Kay... you know...?" I asked. "I dunno. They seemed like they were, but it could've just been talking and making out." Ray said. "Hey there's Jordyn. Be right back guys... or not." Mikey said, got up and walked over to Jordyn. "Hey baby." "Hey!" They started kissing. "So... is Gerard still asleep?" Kaylana asked me. "Yeah. I wore him out." Kaylana and I laughed like the best friends we are. And then Erin came in. "Hey Erin!" Kaylana and I said to her. "Hey guys." She said sounding wiped out. "Did you and Frankie have fun last night?" I asked. "OH YEAH!!!!" Erin yelled. She's so funny. Eventually, everyone woke up and the guys ended up talking to the guys, and the girls ended up talking to the girls. "Hey girls," Frankie said to us and stood on the table. "The guys decided that tonight we are gonna go out and have some fun. We're having a dudes night out!" All the guys agreed. "Ok then." All the girls agreed too. So the hours passed and it came to the time that the guys were about to leave. "So where will you guys be going?" I asked Gerard as they were about to leave. "I dunno. Some bar I think." "Ok Gerard. Don't get too drunk, ok?" "Ok I won't." "You promise?" "Yes I promise." He kissed me quickly and then left. Yet even though he made that promise, I knew something bad was going to happen.

The movie was over and everyone went to sleep. I did what I always did, stayed up and watched Gerard draw. He was really concentrating tonight. I don't know what he was trying to draw though. It stressed me out because i really wanted to know. I got up out of my bed, yawned as if I had just woken up, and walked to the bathroom. I went in and wet my face with cold water because the tour bus was really hot. I went out and sat next to Gerard in his bunk. "What are you drawing?" I asked him. "Oh, nothing much." Gerard said to me and showed his picture. It was me. "Wow, Gerard, that's really good! I think the drawing looks better than the real thing!" I said. "Don't be stupid Lizz, you're just as pretty as anything I've ever seen in my life!" He said and tickled my sides. I laughed and fell over. "No Gerard, STOP!!!" I yelled forgetting that it was 12:47 AM. Ray opened Gerard's curtain. "Will you lovebirds quiet down? You'll wake Kaylana up!!!" He said and went back to bed. Gerard looked at me and I looked at him. We laughed. "I guess we have 2 be quieter." Gerard wispered. He looked at me. I looked a him. We moved in toward eachother, but got interrupted by noises coming from Ray's bunk. "Ray..." We heard Kaylana moan. "Haha!" Gerard said and snorted. I looked at him laughing. "Pretend you didn't hear that." He said. "No, I liked it." I said. Then he jerked his head toward Kaylana and Ray's bunk. "Umm... well... do you wanna?" He asked and looked at his knees. I got exactly what he meant. "Gerard," I said managing to get him to look up at me. Then I pounced on him and kissed him. He fell over with me ontop of him. That was the best night of my life.

Later that night when everyone was partying, the bus stopped so we could all get some sleep. Noebels had aleady left, and Kay was with Bob. We were all having the time our lives, when we decided to watch a movie. "What should we watch?" Bob asked. "I dunno, but something scary so our girls will be in our laps!" Frank said suggestively and nudged Bob. "Come on Frank, you already have Erin in your lap, and we haven't even picked a movie yet!" "Well i can't help it! I guess i'm just so irresistable to her!" "Frank, you make geeks look like players in good light!" Bob said, and Frank hit him. It turned into a girlish slap fight after a few seconds, and Gerard broke it up before one of them broke a nail. "How about The Omen?" Mikey said while searching through a shelf packed with movies. Everyone agreed and he popped it in. I was sitting next to Gerard, and he had his knee against mine, nothing that romantic. After awhile the movie started to get a little creepy. Gerard noticed I was scared, and he put his arm around my shoulders. He kind of pulled me closer to him. I looked up at him. He seemed to be having a problem with one bit of long, silky, black hair getting in his eyes. I reached up, and pulled it away for him. "Thanks." He said and smiled at me. "No problem." I said, and slowly layed my hand on his (the one that wasn't playing with my hair.) He started to play with my fingers, and weave his in and out through mine. I was enjoying it. I layed my head down on his shoulder, and he rested his head down on my head. He was still playing with my hair and my fingers. Then he tapped my shoulder. "Look at Ray and Kaylana." He said and pointed to the left. I looked. Ray was practically ontop of Kaylana sucking on her face. I laughed silently and layed my head back on Gerard's shoulder and he set his head back on mine. Kaylana started to giggle. I looked at her and Ray was actually ontop of her, with his head buried in her hair. "Come on guys, get a room!" Mikey yelled from across the room. Jordyn was sitting in his lap. "Good idea. Come on Kaylana..." Ray said and pulled her off the couch into the other room. (People better be happy! I'm letting you have the fun before me and Gerard!) "Well, there's more room on the couch now." Kay said. The movie was almost over and me and Gerard were still in the same positions. But then he started to move his head as if he wanted to smell my hair. He started to wisper in my ear. "You wanna do something? Like, not as big as Ray and Kaylana, but just since Mikey and Jordyn are making out now, and I think Bob and Kay went to like, Applebees or something." He kept his head in my hair. "I dunno, like what?" I said and smiled. He was tickling the side of my head. "Like make out or something. You don't have to if you don't want to. Oh, and Frank and Erin are asleep." "I'd love to Gerard." Then he turned my head and he started to kiss me. I kissed him back. It started as a soft peck, but it turned into a feirce makeout session. He rubbed his hands up and down my arms and cheeks, and then held the back of my neck. After biting on my bottom lip, he switched over to kissing my neck. I was enjoying every second of it. He was sweating and his hair was sticking to his face. "So..." he said and layed ontop of me with his head on my chest. "Since we aren't actually 'dating', I wanted to ask if you would go out with me." Gerard said between deep breaths. "Of course I will." I said and kissed his head.

After a while, Kaylana came out of the bedroom. "Don't go in there guys." Kaylana said to everyone. We all broke out in laughter. "No, I'm gonna go see whats happening in there!" Gerard said, and ran off. "Me too!" I said and followed him. We went over to Erin's bunk only to find that the curtain was closed. Gerard looked at me. "Shh..." he said, and reached out toward the curtain. I laughed under my breath, and reached out the same time as him. Our hands touched. We looked at each other. He stared into my eyes. "Um..." He said and looked away. "Let's crash Frank's party." "Ok." We pulled back the curtain and saw them under the covers making out. Frank was shirtless. "Hey!" Frank said and closed the curtain. Me and Gerard were laughing hysterically. "Oh my god, did you see his face?" Gerard said between breaths. He fell onto his bunk and pulled me with him. He stared at me again. "Hey, I have tell you something." He said to me. "What?" "Well, when we were little we were inseberable, and we still are. We are more mature now, and when we are, we start to develop other feelings for our friends, you know?" I looked at him. "What are you trying to say?" I asked, knowing already what he was trying to get out of his system. "What I'm trying to say is-" All of a sudden we heard shrieks and Kaylana yelling "NOEBELS!" in the other room. I looked at Gerard and smiled. "Go on, I'll tell you later." "Yay! Thanks Gerard, I love you! NOEBELS!" I said and ran out of the room. Sure enough, there stood Chris Noebels, one of my best and coolest friends in the universe. I ran and jumped and gave him a hug. "Hi!" he said. "Hi! I said back. We chatted for a while, and then, more guests. It was Bob's girlfriend, Kay. "Hiya Kay!" Everyone was saying to her. We gave her hugs, and then Bob shooed us away. "Hey guys, away, she's mine!" Bob said, and kissed her. "Hey everyone, I was wondering if it was ok with you if Kay stayed and toured with us. Because it's not fair if you guys got to invite a girl, and I didn't." "Yeah, that's ok Bob, we all love Kay!" Jordyn said from across the room. Everyone agreed. "Ok, you got to talk. Now can I tell you what I tried to get out earlier?" Gerard asked and grabbed my wrist. "Ok, sure." We walked into the other room and sat down. "I love you." Gerard bursted out. "Oh. Ok." I just said, and smiled. "What? Why are you laughing?" "It's just because, the other night when you sat on my bed, and told me that you wished I knew how you felt about me..." "Yeah?" Gerard said. "I was awake the whole time." Gerard looked really embarresed. "Man! Well, do you feel that way about me? Because if you don't it's okay. I don't want this to ruin our friendship." Gerard said, trying to ignore Frank and Erin in their bunk. (Better love me for this, Erin!) "Ever since 6th grade." I said. The next thing I knew, Gerard's lips were on mine in a kiss so passionate, my only choice was to respond. "Ooh... sexy!" Frank and Erin said laughing. We ignored them. "So you finally told her Gerard?" Erin asked. Gerard nodded his head, lips still on mine. "Wait, you knew Erin?" I asked pulling away from Gerard. "Who didn't?" Frank said. "Shut up Frank." Gerard said and pulled me back to meet his lips. "Well I know one thing, if you're like Erin, Elizabeth, he'll get at least something on the first date." Frank said. Erin punched him in the chest. "You know you love it." She said. "I do." Frank said back.

The next morning came fast for me because of what happened. I woke up and went into the other room to grab something for breakfast. I went in and saw Mikey and Jordyn sucking face on the couch, and Ray and Frank chatting at the table. I went over and sat next to Ray. "Hey Elizabeth, me and Frank were just talking about you." "Really, why?" "Well, um, we really can't tell you that." Frank said, and looked down. "Why not?" I asked. "If it has anything to do with the way Gerard feels about me, then I already know." Ray stared at me and Frank choked on his food. "How do you know?" Frank asked between coughs. "Well, I was up late last night, and Gerard thought I was asleep. He came over, thinking I was asleep, and said to me 'If only you knew how I felt about you.'" Frank and Ray were in awe. "Oh." Frank said under his breath. "Please don't tell him I know!" "No, don't worry, we won't. We wouldn't do that to you." Ray said and patted my back. There was a long pause, and then Frank spoke up. "Where's Bob?" At that moment, Bob walked out, looking like a zombie. "Hey Bob, have a nice cat-nap?" Frank asked, and threw his empty water bottle at Bob's head. "Quit it!" Bob yelled and threw it back. He looked to his right. Mikey and Jordyn were still at each others lips (and necks). "God Mikey, this early?" Mikey pulled away from Jordyn's neck, and threw a balled up peice of paper at Bob. Bob ducked, and it hit Gerard, who had just gotten up. "Ow!" He said. He walked over and sat next to me. "Where's the other girls?" Mikey said from across the room. "Kaylana is listening to her ipod, and Erin is still asleep." Gerard said rubbing his eye. "I'm gonna go wake Erin up guys. Don't wait up for me." Frank said and walked into the other room. Everyone laughed at him. Frank and Erin have huge feelings for each other. "Have fun!" I yelled to him as he left.

I pushed away the curtain on my bunk and watched as Gerard sat in the corner of his bunk and drew his thoughts out. We've been friends for years, and I like him differently now. When we were young, he was just my best guy friend who stuck with me through thick and thin, but now, I've noticed some other things about him. The way his hair flowed to his shoulders and swooped across his face, the faces he made when he brainstormed about his art, the way his eyes glistened when they looked into mine, (they did alot now since we're older and more mature) and the way his clothes complimented his body. I really wanted to tell him how I felt, but I was afraid he didn't like me like that, and I would look like an idiot. It was a few days until New Years Eve, and everyone had a New Years resolution, ecxept me, and they bugged me about it (especially Mikey). I didn't know what I should pick. I just took my time. Gerard turned to my bunk, and I shut the curtain, and layed down. I heard him get up and walk over. I fake-slept as hard as I could. He pulled back the curtain and sat on the side of my bed. "If only..." he said, and touched my cheek. I shivered because his hands were cold. "If only you knew how I felt about you." He shut my curtain and went back to his bed, where he turned off his flashlight and went to sleep. I was in shock. Partly by Gerard touching my cheek, and partly because of what he said.
